Yes, I get it, good quality cashmere sweaters can be expensive. Hence, display must be done with great care and with an eye to prevent theft. But really? There’s always a first, I guess. This is the first time I’ve seen sweaters displayed inside an enclosed glass display unit. I just wonder though, how customers can view or even feel the product. After all, isn’t cashmere’s selling point is how soft and luxurious it feels against the skin? OR maybe, the intention for this display is NOT for customers to access the merchandise? Am I missing something? If this is intended as a window display, then where’s the appeal? Why even use an enclosed glass case? I guess I just don’t get it.
