I do see supermarkets cross merchandise on their store shelves. Chip clips hanging next to chips, dips displayed adjacent as well. However in warehouse style displays, this is not often the case. That is why I took a double take when I saw how this store did it- they just merchandised the items right in front of the palette display. It may be low but still within easy reach and shallow enough not to impede access to the main merchandise being sold. Nice move!
